Community Aid Projects
Over time Stonnington ReCreative will be supporting various aid projects that will make a difference to people, their communities & the environment.
They believe that God has asked them to partner with others to uphold justice and express compassion in ways that give hope.
He has revealed this to them in various places in the Bible including Matthew 25:31-46 & Isaiah 58. These projects may be orientated towards needs in the local Prahran & Windsor community... or they may be attending to needs in other regions of the planet.

Global Mission Partners
GMP is a missions organisation managed by Churches of Christ in Australia. It is faith based, seeking to assist people from a range of cultures with practical, life-changing aid projects that make a difference to ordinary people and their communities. They have development work unfolding in Fiji, India, PNG, South Korea, Sudan, Thailand, Vanuatu, Vietnam & Zimbabwe.
COCOA (Churches of Christ Overseas Aid) produce an annual catalogue which enables you to give specific gifts that provide for a range of needs. An increasing number of people who have everything that they need are asking friends and family to purchase these gifts for their birthdays. Why not purchase Christmas gifts that restore justice and mercy in practical ways. Let your family make a difference that counts!
General donations can be made below, otherwise go to the COCOA page, print out the catalogue or call for one to be sent to you. Thanks for joining with us in making a difference.

Watoto Children's Homes
One of our members has visited Uganda for 5 weeks with a team of people, building homes for children who have been orphaned through the raveges of HIV. Over $10,000 was raised by Glenys for the Watoto project.
The second part of the trip involved assisting in a facility that cares for orphaned babies, many of whom are premature and facing life threatening health issues. Please pray and ask God to raise up people who are willing to go to such places in order to demonstrate the love of God in our troubled world!
